Panel Dialogue

It has indeed been a challenging year for Singapore and the global economy. What do the next few months have in store for us? How can we stay resilient through these tough times and emerge out of them, unscathed? Our expert team comprising of well-known figures from the Public and Private sectors share with you their views on the current job market as well as tips on how you can be a survivor amidst the economic downturn.

With the slowdown in the job market, many new graduates are choosing to pursue higher education – whether a degree for Polytechnic graduates or post-graduate degree for University graduates. Hear from the speakers on their experiences in a range of educational environments, both local and overseas, and find out more on the educational opportunities as well as potential avenues to obtain funding/scholarships.

b)Polishing the Cut: Standing Out through Effective Corporate Etiquette and Networking

Everybody is doing it. At least, successful people are doing it. “It” is Networking. Be in tune with Corporate Etiquette skills that are applicable and transferable to a range of professional careers: how to “dress for success”, speak confidently in public, and navigate the often perplexing world of networking and name cards! Speakers from both the public and private sectors will share tips on how you can stand out from the average employee just by having that bit of magic and self-confidence in you.
