Love Islam Series 2017 return with Fiqh Essentials | Current & Contemporary Finance Matters.

For this series, we will be presenting & discussing on current & contemporary finance matters faced in our daily life in the context of Singapore.

We will begin with sharing the importance of Fiqh Mu'amalat (Islamic rulings governing commercial transactions) and its impact on our daily life. Henceforth, we will look at interest/usury (riba), uncertainty in contracts (gharar) and gambling (maysir); its rulings and forms both in the past and current context. We will also touch on topics such as determining profit margin, forex trading, use now pay later and etc.

The class will commence on 31 July 2017, every Monday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. The class will be conducted by Ustaz Muhammad Nuzaihan bin Hamdan.
