“And We have sent you O Muhammad not but as a mercy for all of humankind, jinn, and all that exists.” (Quran 21:107)
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ reminds us that humankind was put on this earth to be the custodian of God's creation. Treating animals with kindness and mercy is just one of the responsibilities embedded in that custodianship.
In learning about their duty to care for these defenceless creatures, Animals in the Qur'an brings your children on a journey of exploration & self-discovery that will mould them into exemplary Muslims, in knowledge as well as in character.
To marvel in Allah's beauty through His creations. We intend to instil the notion that Allah's creation cannot exist on their own and all of Allah's creation has a purpose.
Your children will:
- Familiarise with the stories of special animals mentioned in the Qur'an (specifically Nabi Muhammad saw, Nabi Yunus as, Nabi Sulaiman as, Nabi Saleh as)
- Instil compassion and kindness with regards to treating animals, aligning with the Islamic principles
- Discover how Allah exalts the good characters in these animals and how to practise good values in our lives
- Learn the significance of the Qur'an in our lives and the importance of remembering Allah when you look at His creations
- Connect the science they learn at school with the miracles of these animals mentioned in the Qur'an
