In this session, Brother Idris Tawfiq will explore the many issues that we face in the modern world, the tumults and confusion that present before our very hearts, and how there is a need for an oasis of peace and prayer in any society. All of us, are tempted, from time to time to despair that there is no solution to our problems. This, however, is not what Islam tells us. Islam tells us that Allah is in charge of all events, and that He is victorious in all things. Brother Idris Tawfiq seeks to remind us in this talk that the oasis we are looking for is provided by Allah, who calls mankind to turn away from the false promises of this world, and to turn instead to Him, the source and fount of all happiness.
