Halim currently plies his trade as an independent financial planner who specialises in wealth management for Muslims. Understanding there is a general lack of awareness and readily visible solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of modern Muslims, Halim is a firm propagator of outreach and public talks to improve financial literacy within the community.

He holds a Bachelor in Social Sciences, Economics (Hons) from the National University of Singapore. He is a Certified Islamic Wealth Adviser. He is also an Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP), focusing on legacy planning and wealth distribution for Muslims through the use of wasiat, trusts and nominations.
