Ustaz Hannan Hassan is the Assistant Director (Education), Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). He holds a B.Ed (Hons), First Class with Distinction from Kuwait, majoring in Arabic Language and Islamic education and a M.A. (Islamic Civilization) from International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He is currently doing his Ph.D at the Institute of Islamic Studies, McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
