A management consultant by profession, Imran has lived and worked in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, Dubai and his country of birth, Pakistan, during his 25 year career in banking. Presently, he manages his own consulting business, Deodar Advisors

Imran’s interest in Islam began during his college days when he studied the Philosophy of Religion. Subsequently, he has done extensive reading on recent Islamic empires, specifically the Ottoman and Mogul Empires. In Singapore, he takes a keen interest in Muslim affairs and is involved with the Association of Muslim Professionals’ Muslim Expatriates Association. Imran is a qualified docent guide at the National Museum of Singapore.
