SYNOPSIS:
Abu Rayhan Al-Biruni is considered as one of the most established and the greatest Muslim scientist of the past. Not only a genius, he is considered as a polymath due to his contributions in varying fields, from the natural sciences to history and sociology.
His contributions include the first introduction of the concept of longitude, plate tectonics and the first detailed first-hand study of Indian culture and religion. Who is he? What are his discoveries? What made this man so great? Can we produce such a man at this age? This talk will expound on those questions.
