O Dear Sisters, imagine this - a dear friend of yours, who is a non-muslim or someone who have not yet understand Islam; approach you and ask you, "How come some muslim pray and some don't - is prayer actually optional?".

Another person who you knew wanted to change for the better, whatsapp-ed you in the middle of the night and tell you that she had her menses for 16 days already, but she just does her solat, as she changed into a different sanitary wear.

How confident are you, with knowledge of Fardhu 'Ain, helped others and yourself - preparing for the bigger things in life?

Nowadays, we know the prices of everything, but we are ignorant of its value.

If everyone knew the true value and status of Muslim women in Islam, even the men would want to be women.

We are the being that will rock the world.

The question is, how do we do that?

It is only when we are empowered will we be able to empower others and, Education is one of the most important means of empowering women. Being the first madrasah for the future generation, it is most vital for a woman to equip herself with ‘ilm (knowledge), as per the sharing of Iman Syafie' (RA): “Whosoever wants the World is via ILM, whosoever wants the Hereafter is via ILM And whomsoever wants BOTH, is via ILM”.

Ustazah Nazeerah Shaik Alwie will guide you through the basic foundation class of Fardhu 'Ain, with in-depth explanation and simple terms - that require no further efforts to understand the religion of Islam.

Join us for 8 sessions, starting 16 January 2024 - Every Monday, 8pm to 9:30pm through Online Platform, Google Meet! Recordings and notes will be made available too.

About the speaker

Ustazah Nazeerah Shaik Alwie, is a proud graduate of Alsagoff Arabic School, where she completed her GCE O Levels and emerged as the School Best Student. She then received her Diploma in Islamic Foundation & Theology majoring in Quranic Interpretation from Insaniah, located at Kedah, Malaysia and upon completion; she was awarded the Best Student Award from the Sultan of Kedah.

She then continued her Degree in Al-Azhar University in Egypt and graduated with Honours in the same specialization, after which, she pursued her Masters, majoring in Da'awah (Islamic Propagation) and graduated in 2009 with a First-Class Honour from the American Open University of Cairo.

Her transition as an educator started as early as her secondary school years, where she offered tuitions for her juniors in Alsagoff Arabic School as well as various learning centres; teaching kids and youths Islamic Studies and Arabic Language. Ustazah Nazeerah believes in being a friend-cum-guider rather than a literal teacher in the journey of educating and moulding her students.

She is currently a freelance editor and public speaker.
