AMP 4th National Convention

Every decade, AMP Singapore (AMP) organises a national convention and dedicates it as a platform for local Muslim professionals to discuss new strategies that can propel the Muslim community in Singapore towards greater success. The formation of AMP in 1991 was preceded by the first of such a Convention. The First Convention, held in 1990, was spearheaded by a group of professionals who were resolute in their determination to gather the community together to find solutions for the challenges faced by the Muslim community back then. The Convention has since remained a significant, grounds-up platform for the professionals in the community to play a role in the thought leadership for the community.

This year, AMP will be organising its 4th Convention, which will differ from previous Conventions as it will adopt a human-centred design thinking approach for the first time ever. Through this approach, the Convention will look at issues from the perspective of four personas pertinent to the long-term development of the community, namely community advocates, families, seniors and youths. You are invited to join us for this ground-up, thought leadership exercise and play a part in ideating strategies for the advancement of the Muslim community in Singapore.

AMP Singapore is a non-profit organisation serving the Muslim community. It was established on 10 October 1991, and formed with core programmes in education, human resource development, social development and research.

AMP is a registered charitable organisation and is accorded the status of an Institution of Public Character.

AMP organises a national convention every decade and dedicates it as a platform for professionals, practitioners, and activists within the Singapore Muslim community to discuss new strategies that can propel the Muslim community in Singapore towards greater success.

AMP offers programmes and services to support professionals, workers, families, debtors, students and youths in the community. These programmes and services are aimed at catalysing and accelerating the development of the community.
