For most of us, the five basic pillars of Islam may already be at our fingertips BUT, have we ever thought and ponder upon our six pillars of Iman? Some of us may heard or know about it, but how well do we understand our Pillars of Iman that deeply? Are we that famillar with every single one of them?

In this new year, let us recap back the basics in our Pillars of Faith with Ustaz Ahmad Faritz who will be covering topics such as general overview of the pillars of Iman to how the angels selawat upon the prophet!

Come and join us through this 6-week event as we discover and touch upon each and every one of the pillars of Iman!

Below are the topics that will be covered:

Week 1 (Faith in Allah) - 14 January 2020

• General overview of all the Pillars of Iman

• Several Names of Allah to know Allah better

• What does it mean to have faith in Allah?

• Abiding by the commandments of Allah and refraining from the prohibited ones

• How do we strengthen our faith towards Allah

Week 2 (Faith in Angels)

• Name and Job scope of each and every one of the angels

• Do Malaikat have Nafs or are they created just for the purpose of worship?

• Seeing of the angels and their appearance

• Questions that are frequently asked such as Why do Allah create mankind when He already knows that the angel will worship him, while mankind will cause blood and destruction in this earth?

Week 3 (Faith in the Holy Quran)

• General overview of the Holy Quran (Number of surah, ayat, nuzul Quran etc..)

• Reward of reciting Al Quran

• Recitation of Quran for the dead

• Reading Quran and its benefits

• Different status of Quran amongst the other 3 holy books

Week 4 (Faith in Rasul)

• Name of 25 Rasul

• The difference between Rasul and Nabi

• The term ‘Ulul Azmi

• How are they different from us?

• In depth understanding of the Rasuls

Week 5 (Faith in the Day of Judgement)

• Signs of the Judgement Day/Yaumul Qiyamah

• What will be happening on the Judgement

• Post-occurrence of the Judgement Day

• Heaven and Hell

• Questions that are frequently asked such as What will the people in the grave feel during the day of judgement? Are they able to witness it?

Week 6 (Faith in the Qada' and Qadar)

• The meaning and differences of Qada' and Qadar

• The interlink of Qada' and Qadar

• Types of Qada'

• Can the Qadar be changed?

• Putting faith in Qada' and Qadar

Venue : Online - Zoom

1. Registered participants will be invited into the Zoom session.
2. Do download Zoom.us on your device if you have not done so.
3. Do check your email for the link 4 hours before the session start.

Day/Date : Starting on Thursday, 14 January 2020 (Session is every Thursday)

• Total of 6 weeks

Time : 8.00 pm to 9.30 p,m

• 1.5 hours of weekly session (lesson + Q&A)

Fees : $10 per session (participants will be given notes + a recording of that day session ONLY)
