“I'm in no mood and too stressed with whatever's going around me, exercise can wait. Dieting is too troublesome.” 

“So what if I'm ‘heavy', Allah swt looks at my heart and deeds! Not my body!” 

“Does my weight affect my janazah when I die? Or will my deeds (Spiritual) help me?”

Feeling lazy to be active, ending up feeling like it is a “chore” to do ibadah?

Pressure, Stress and Depress - feel lost like no one is there for you, but it past your mind that Allah SWT is always there?


This event will touch on the 3 different and simple aspects of health that we, as Muslims can adopt. The event will also share the importance of maintaining and ensuring these aspects of health and ways to become a healthier Muslim too.


The event will be led by Ustaz Luqman Hakim Bin Roslan, a graduate from Islamic University of Madinah (Major in Islamic Law) and a health advocate that spends most of his free time playing different kinds of sports and works out with youths in the community. 


Session 1 - Physical (13 October 2020)

- Introduction to the 3 aspects of health, meaning of physical health.

- How does Physical health affect my Spiritual and Mental Health?

- What does my Deen have to do with me being healthy physically? 

- Things to avoid in Islam when it comes to physical health

- Simple and Innovative ways to keep body moving wherever you are (working, at home, before bed)


Session 2 - Mental (20 October 2020)

- Introduction to Mental Health, mindset of a Muslim

- How does my mental health affect my Physical and Spiritual Health? 

- “Healthier Mind, Stronger Iman”

- What does my mental health have to do with my Deen?

- IQ and EQ in Islam 


Session 3 - Spiritual (27 October 2020)

- Introduction to Spiritual health

- How does my Spiritual affect my Physical and Mental Health? 

- The idea of tazkiyatunnafs or tasawwuf

- Dangers of being spiritually unhealthy

- Ways to improve spiritual health

The event will be conducted Online through Zoom

- Registered participants will be invited into the Zoom session.

- Do download Zoom.us on your device if you have not done so.

- Do check your email for the link 4 hours before the session start.
