SYNOPSIS
Competitions are organized repeatedly in a year.
- Duration of the ceremony: 10.00am - 6.00pm
- Juz Amma's reading
- Provision of 4min reading / participant
- Categories age 8-12 years

OBJECTIVES
- As a platform for the young qari to sharpen their reading skills professionally.
To contribute their readings to the public.
- Encourage the students of Al-Quran to contribute the Quranic reading thus improving the level of the Qrecitation.
Reinforce the spirit to compete towards goodness.
- Build an attitude to improve skills in the field of Quran reading.

Awards & Prizes :
All participants will receive an honorary trophy for their recitation and a Certificate of Participation.
Top three participants of each category will receive "The Junior League Quranic Recitation Trophy 2018" for best reciters.

Competition Details

Venue : Sultan Mosque (Function Hall)
Date: 23 Dec 2018 (Sunday)
Time : 9.00am to 6.00pm
Age Requirements : 8 to 12 yrs old

Timing of the competition will be in two phase.
Morning phase - 9.00am to 1.00pm
Afternoon phase - 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Participants will be slotted according to the time phase and participants must be punctual. Please register early. Participants will be given 5 suras in advance and require to practice at home.
Compulsory for all participants to recite Sura Al Fateha as this sura will also be judged.
On competition day, participants will be allocated to recite any of the 5 suras or a combination of suras in any given order by judges. Participants will be judged on fluency of recitation with proper tajweed pronunciation.

Collection of registration fees of $20 will be on competition day itself.
