Misconceptions in Islam

Islamophobia has been an ongoing issue in today's world. Civil wars and destruction of cities all over the world caused by terrorist attacks have portrayed a bad image of Islam.

People around the world have perceptions that Muslims are the destruction of mankind. The roles of women in Islam, as well as the meaning of Jihad, are often questioned. In actuality, Islam highly values women and the word "Jihad" in the Quran is not referred to as violence.

This year, Al-Khair Mosque, under the banner of Darul Tafsir Singapore, will be conducting a two-part seminar to clarify these issues.
