What we pursue, what we get, and what we truly deserve.

Many of us are on a constant hunt for the next big thing. A new house, a new bag, or a brand new car.

And because we set it as a condition for our happiness, failure to acquire those possessions equates to failure to attain happiness.

Some of us search for happiness in people through relationships. We'll never be happy as long as we're "married, have many friends, have a child of our own, have a non-dysfunctional family for once!"

But have we been attaching our happiness to the wrong things? Is the ability to be joyful an in-built gift from God? Or is it something external that we must constantly pursue? Or can happiness only be attained in the next life?
