The Introductory Talk is to establish better overview and understanding of USIM and IRDAK's collaboration Programme "CERTIFICATE OF LAW IN MUSLIM MARRIAGE (CLMM)" which planned in late January 2018 or middle of February 2018 (https://islamicevents.sg/event/7213).

The programme is specially tailored to the knowledge seekers, who have a keen interest in Islamic perspective knowledge. In addition, in one way or another you are upgrading your education level by embarking on a lifelong learning process.

In the Programme Introductory Session, you will be introduced to all 4 modules in the 4 weeks certification programme.

At end of the Introductory session you will have an idea, why we have to:

1) Understand the provisions of Islamic law on marriage.

2) Have a clearer understanding why Inheritance is considered as an integral part of Shariah Law.

3) Have some understanding the Law in marriage and family rights and their incorporation into state legislation (AMLA).

4) Understand the alternative ways to resolve the conflicts or disputes in a peaceful manner.

Hopefully, the Introductory Session will show the importance of the programme and triggered the eagerness to the lifelong learning and knowledge advancement.

In our daily life, we normally encounter Challenges. We either sweep it away or act on it.

With the understanding of Law in Muslim Marriage, we generally aim to address the concept of family unity, its maintenance and generate coexistence of family peacefulness.

Hopefully, at the end of the programme, you will gain a better understanding of how to tackle the issue in the Islamic way.
