A youth seminar to raise awareness on the importance of family ties. There are three parts to
the seminar, where three different speakers will talk about three different topics.
First, ‘The Forgotten Blessing” by Ustaz Tarmizi Wahid, where the talk will be touching on the
three main blessings between the child and parents.
- to understand the meaning of blessing
- to understand the importance of parents' blessings
- ways to achieve blessings from parents
Second part to the talk, “The Forgotten Promise” by Ustazah Mariam Hashim, where the talk
will be touching on
- the importance of good akhlak towards parents
- to understand the promise that Allah stated to those whom brings happiness to parents
Thirdly, “The Forgotten Success” by Mr Sujimy Mohamad, sharing reasons behind his success
which is his parents.

There will be many phases in our lives as we grow up. There will be a point where friends consume more of our time compared to our parents and family, when our friends' opinions matter more than our parents', when their validations means more to us than our parents' - ones who know us more than we know ourselves sometimes.
For some, we may have reached that point where family comes first over everything else, even friends. We know that no other opinion matters except for our parents' and that they are the ones we can truly rely on.

This youth seminar initiative aims to serve as a reminder and a reinforcement for youths on the importance of family ties and good relationship, especially with our parents.

Our speakers will be sharing on our roles and responsibilities as a child and how we can be the best son/daughter for our parents.
