social media, etiquette

Fees: $35

How many times have we sought the likes of our followers at the expense of Allah's dislike? Are you willing to sacrifice His one dislike for your 100 likes?

We know when to apply common sense and graciousness in our day-to-day lives outside the World Wide Web so what prevents us from applying the same etiquette to our virtual lives?

Social media is a powerfool tool that can be used for good, but more often than not, it has become a platform for our vices ranging from backbiting, gossiping, inappropriate interaction with the opposite gender, bullying and so much more.

- The underlying intentions of our postings
- Reasons why we choose to 'follow', it is akin to surrounding ourselves with good/not so good friends
- Are we conscious of each posting, being fully aware of the diverse profile and background of all our followers
- Even if thousands liked our post, would Allah like it? Would the Prophet saw approve it?'
- How to resolve conflicts that started on social media platforms with grace and wisdom?

Join Ustaz Mizi Wahid this March in Allah Liked This Post as he discuss the etiquette in managing our social media lives. #safinahsg
