Mention horror, and most people cringe at the idea with the thought: is there such a thing in Islam?
Yes, there is. In fact, a lot!
We hear tales of hell and torture in the grave. Scary? Definitely!
We hear the story of the man who met the Angel of Death, running away with the thoughts of escape to another land, only to meet the Angel of Death there, again! Scary? Yes!
In fact, horror is a medium under-utilised in dakwah - there is hikmah in the horror story, too.
It is time to bring out the horror story - the moral, responsible kind!

*Stories chosen from the workshop will be published in an e-book for Kindle, Amazon.
*The workshop will officially launch the e-book from the author's camp last year
*The venue will be Berita Harian - writing among the writers!
