“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous” – al-Baqarah:183

What happens if I forget to make my intention to fast?
What if I'm traveling long distances across continents, do I have to fast throughout my journey?
Does sniffing an inhaler nullify my fast?
Would receiving an injection invalidate my fast? What happens if I didn't manage to repay my previous missed fasts - can I fast as per normal this year?

Fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the pillars of the faith. Knowing how to perform this ritual is of utmost importance.
