Be a Da'wah Ambassador today!
Learn how to present Islam confidently to others through our Da'wah Awareness Training Programme.

DATP is a new initiative by Muslim Converts' Association of Singapore designed to train and equip aspiring Da'wah ambassadors, age 18 and above, with relevant knowledge and skills.

DATP modules will be conducted by experienced trainers ranging from Islamic scholars, both local and overseas as well as communication experts who will conduct training on soft skills required for Da'wah.

Who is a Da'wah ambassador?
Dawah ambassador is someone who has undergone training for the necessary knowledge and skills to share Islam. The Dawah ambassador will be able to show the kindness and beauty of Islam beyond media stereotypes.

What are the qualities that a potential Da'wah ambassador should have?
-Passion to promote the true message of Islam
-Desire to acquire the relevant content and skills

At the end of the training programme, participants will be able to:
- Able to answer FAQs on Islam effectively
- Apply different Da'wah approaches and techniques in daily life

The modules span across three levels : Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Participants will receive certificates from MCAS after completing each level.


Details

Duration:
FEBRUARY - DECEMBER 2016 (Beginner Level)
We will conduct one module every month and participants only need to complete 6 core modules to qualify for intermediate level.

Participants may choose to try out different modules on an ad-hoc basis first without needing to commit to the programme yet. Participants can still subscribe to the training programme later.

Modules spread over an array of key knowledge and skills needed for Da'wah, such as :
1.Da'wah Apprentice
2.Start-Up to Da'wah
3.Islamic Legacy : Intra-faith Da'wah
4.Da'wah Techniques
5.Presentation Skills Training
6.Da'wah Practical
7.Inter-Faith visit

Participants will also have the opportunity to apply the acquired Da'wah skills during the practical training sessions.
