SMU Muslim Society is pleased to announce our very first event of 2016! Shades of Love: Humanity and the Last Prophet will be held on Friday, 8 January 2016 at SMU School of Accountancy, Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium.

The event is to commemorate Allah's gift for mankind, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This year's Mawlid features Qasidah Recitation (Arabic Poetry) by Soutun Nur from Nurabitah Youth (Jamiyah Ar-Rabitah Mosque Youth Group), followed by a talk entitled "Shades of Love - Humanity and The Last Prophet" by Ustaz Fizar Zainal.

Ustaz Fizar will espouse the different stages and aspects of love portrayed by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH throughout his life and how Muslims should translate their love of the Prophet by emulating his character and characteristics in our contemporary world; especially in the light of the tumultuous world events that are full of conflict and hate.

(Prayer rooms will be provided and refreshments will be provided during the break.)
