The Arabic word "Al Kuttab" translate to mean traditional school. In Islam, Al-Kuttab is an important centre not only for learning Islamic and Arabic subjects but also secular subjects as well. Al-Kuttab started a few hundred years ago in Egpyt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. From there, itexpanded to so many other countries because of its effective techniques in the teaching.
