The Science of Tajweed is amongst the most important sciences of the Qur'an, for it necessitates from us all to be able to read the Words of Allah in the correct and appropriate manner they were intended. It focuses on the correct position of the organs of speech and understanding the manners of articulation etc.

Tajweed is not about merely learning rules and committing them to memory, but rather the correct application of those rules while reciting the Qur'an in order to gain the rewards and benefits associated with it. Imam Jazari said, ‘To recite the Qur'an with Tajweed is compulsory. Whoever recites it without Tajweed is assuming sin”.

This acclaimed 18 week intensive programme is timely positioned for the beginner student in wanting to improve his recitation.
