On the previous seminar, the first part of the Shahadah, “laa ilaaha illa Allah” has been discussed. In this seminar, we will be discussing the second part of the Shahadah, “Muhammad Abdullah wa Rasuluh”.

The second part of the Shahadah is significant but often forgotten and neglected by us in living our daily life, worldly or heavenly. We should understand that the second part of Shahadah is related/connected to the first part. The first part of Shahadah is not valid until the second part is fulfilled.

Objectives

1. To strengthen the understanding of The Muslims towards The Shahadah.
2. To know more about The Prophet pbuh.
3. To follow the Sunnah of Rasulullah pbuh in worldly or heavenly matters.

1. Ustaz Khalid Rafi
• Definition of “Muhammad Abdullah wa Rasuluh” which includes the principles (rukun) and the conditions (syarat) of it.
• The significance of “Muhammad Abdullah wa Rasuluh” as the perfection to the “Laa ilaha illallah”
• Examples on how the society can implement the shahadah in our daily lives and what are the common errors in implementing it.

2. Dr. Khairudin Aljunied
• What does it mean when someone says “I love Rasulullah!”? And how does this phrase affects us in our daily lives?
• Examples of misappropriation on defining the shahadah by the undergrads.
• The stands of The Westerners towards Rasulullah PBUH; praise and critiscism.
