SIMCMS: Mass Iftar & Halaqah 2015

The mass iftar will bring all SIM members, alumni, student leaders and fellow Muslims together to break fast so as to foster bonds and acquire knowledge through sharing.
The topic for this halaqah session would be about the spiritual wisdoms behind the acts that Muslims do during Ramadhan, such as fasting and paying Zakat (payment made annually under Islamic law on certain kinds of property and used for charitable and religious purposes) and corroborate the wisdoms to scientific and psychological explanations.

The planned itinerary will be as follows:
6.30 – 7.00 pm | Arrival of Guests
7.00 – 7.13 pm | Qur'an Recitation
7:13 – 8.00 pm | Iftar
8.10 – 8.25 pm | Mahgrib Prayers
8.30 – 9.10 pm | Isyak Prayers + Tarawih (8 + 1 raka'ats)
9.15 – 9.45 pm | Tazkirah
