The Quranic Vocabulary Lesson : Learn Arabic in Context
The Quranic Vocabulary:Learn Arabic Words in the Context of Quran.
IMPROVE YOUR READING VOCABULARY by trying to read the Quran. Experts have found that we do much of our learning of words from the contexts in which we find these words. This is a natural human ability, a skill that enabled us to learn our mother tongues when we were still babies!
Don't worry if you only know a few words— as soon you learn a new word, try to find it in the Quran. For example, you can try looking for the word: و
This is pronounced “wa” and means “and.” Start looking for this word in the Quran. Keep your ear tuned for it when you hear recitations that you don't understand. Soon you'll start getting curious about the words it connects, and because you've seen them often, they will be easier to learn.
May Allah (swt) richly bless your efforts to learn and spread the message of the Quran.
Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have taught of the Scripture and because of what you have studied. [from Al-Quran, 3:79]
