The first speaker, Mufti Ismail Menk, will bring the audience through key historical facts about Ashabul Kahfi.

Audience will:
1) Learn why this event was explicitly detailed in the holy Qur'an.
2) Be inspired to appreciate and emulate the spirit of sacrifice, resilience and steadfastness of Ashabul Kahfi in striving to attain Allah's pleasure and mercy.
3) Learn the timelessness of the character and personality of Ashabul Kahfi.

The second speaker, Dr Muhammad Salah, will share on how we can internalize this amazing story in our current context.

Audience will:
1) Have better awareness of the challenges and issues facing youth today.
2) Learn how the true Islam is the key in managing these challenges.
3) Learn how we can establish the 21st century madrasah within us so that we can be the “Ashabul Kahfi” of today.

Proceeds from this event will go to "Dana SIAP Akhirat", which aims to enhance financial assistance for students of MAI and also the Malay-Muslim students in Singapore.

The acronym SIAP has been put together to form a set of objectives of an ideal Muslim family that every member of the community should strive for;

1) S – Sedekah jariah (the practice of being charitable)
2) I – Ilmu yang bermanfaat (useful knowledge)
3) A – Anak yang soleh yang mendoakan (a filial child who includes the wellbeing of his/her parents in his/her supplications).
The P in the acronym stands for “Project”. The project will run from 1st April to 29th May 2015.

This project will climax to a joint event, Youth Forum on 29 May 2015, entitled “21st Century Ashabul Kahfi:Riding the Waves of Globalisation”.

- A complimentary parking lot
- A light meal and be eligible for tax deduction of up to 300% of the donation.
