Awakening The Prayer
Fees: $85 per pax
A weekend seminar that will rejuvenate your salah
For Brothers and Sisters (Fully segregated)
The prayer of the believer is the single most important form of worship and means of connection with one's Lord. It is the medium through which the believer literally speaks to Allah and the a fountain from which one drinks on a daily basis to reinvigorate the soul and re establish one's purpose in life.
I don't know about you, but the above description of the prayers sounds somewhat alien to most of us right? The question is why? What's missing and how can we make a change to revive the ritual?
This course seeks to address this very question…
This course will:
- Share the secret of how to attain khushu (concentration & devotion) in the prayer
- Explain both the outward and inward meanings of all the utterances in the prayer
- Explain the significance of the physical motions in the prayer
- Describe the thoughts & emotions one should experience in an awakened prayer
- Provide practical advice on how to develop the prayer through the above
The course will be taught by experienced teachers in an interactive and engaging manner with lots of time given to your questions.
Note: this is not a fiqh course. The focus is on the quality of prayer as opposed to the rules of prayer.
Speakers: Sh Shams Adduha and Shafi Chowdhury
