Alhamdulillah, Mawlid Festival is back for the second year running, this time with qasidah maestro Habib Syech Assegaf (Indonesia) of "Ya Hanana" fame and renowned Islamic scholar, Shaykh Hisham Kabbani (USA).

This year's Mawlid Festival will be held on 31st May 2013 (Friday) from 6pm to 10pm at former Geylang Vocational Institute, opposite Kampung Ubi CC, 11 Jalan Ubi. Admission is FREE. All are welcomed!

The event will have speeches by Shaykh Hisham Kabbani, Ustaz Fizar Zainal and Ustaz Zahid Md Zin. Qasidah performances will be by Singapore Haqqani Ensemble, Nurul Huda Islamic Ensemble and Art Fazil.

Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wasallam said "There are three under the shade of Allah on a day when there is no shade except His; the one who relieved a distress from someone from my nation; the one who gave life to my Sunnah and the one who invoked salawat (blessings) on me the most."
