Muslim Students Initiative (MSI)
Undergraduates' Sharing Session 2013 (USS2013) is an initiative aimed to assist prospective Muslim undergraduates in deciding their university options. We hope through this event, prospective undergraduates would be able to receive first-hand sharing of experiences from current Muslim undergraduates, InsyaAllah.
We are, however, not like your Open House where you (prospective undergraduates) will get direct administrative information from the school. See this as a session for you to meet and ask current undergraduates to clear any doubts that you have, get to know more about the school culture or even discuss various options within the courses and schools.
Here, you will be able to
- Meet your Brothers and Sisters currently in University
- Have all your queries, doubts and uncertainties answered (InsyaAllah) by the current undergraduates
- Get insights about student life from a Malay-Muslim perspective
Current undergraduates from local varsity institutions from courses ranging from engineering, social sciences, economics, business, computer sciences, law, medicine, education and many more will be there to answer your queries insyaAllah.

Event details:
The day will start off with a sharing by a local undergraduate regarding university life in general, as well as the importance of seeking education in Islam. Following which, three breakout sessions will be held where participants are able to personally hear from seniors regarding the workload and expectations from respective courses and faculties.
