"Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near." [Al-Baqarah: 214]

Many times when we are afflicted with trials, we may not know how to react or aren't sure where to turn to, and we may feel at a loss for words and hope. We forget that there has always been hope. But how should we deal with this, today? How do we seek comfort or consolation in a time of distress or sadness for ourselves?

Join Yasmin Mogahed, a writer, author, poet and motivator, in this April’s Youth aLIVE Discourse, as she discusses how we Muslims Youths can and still have hope in excelling in the dunya for the akhirah, in seeking solace especially in the current context.
