This will be a one day seminar that will allow interaction with the attendees in a case based learning environment. The main purpose will be to shed light on the importance of purifying the heart and how to do it. It will be addressing the following aspects:

- The status of the heart and the importance given to it in Islam.
- Defining the purification of the heart, its importance and why it leads to success.
- The role of the Qur'an and Sunnah in the purification
- The importance of knowledge
- Three diseases of the heart: Shirk, Kibr and Hasad
- Lessons from the lives of the Sahaba, Tabi'een and scholars of Islam illustrating practical solutions to these diseases.
