To be among those who truly submit to Allah, one has to have full reliance and confidence in the Lord of the Worlds with regards to his livelihood. He needs to have certainty that whatever provision has been decreed for him shall be given to him. In the pursuit of the means of livelihood, men become preoccupied with amassing wealth to sustain himself and those under his care and thus neglecting his purpose of life - the attainment of cognizance of God.

Imam Abdul Latif will touch upon the meaning of servanthood and how letting go of oneself from 'tadbir' can be achieved.
