National University of Singapore

Fees: US180 -US225

The world renowned AlMaghrib Institute will launch its new seminar series in Singapore titled, A Heart Serene: Purification of the Soul, inviting and navigating Muslim participants to delve into the most important aspect of their faith – the science of self-purification, the sincerity of hearts and one's connection with God.

The seminar will be conducted in English and held over two weekends commencing from 11th May at Prince George's Park Residence Auditorium at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Addressing the seminar is Islamic scholar and motivational speaker Shaykh Riad Ouarzazi from Canada whose presentation takes believers on a journey of self-discovery to gain a deeper soulful connection and a greater understanding of the power that exists within.

The seminar programme is based on the text of one of the foremost scholars, Ibn ul-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, which delves into the knowledge of the soul and how to attain nearness to the Creator.

Participants will understand the true meaning of spiritual enlightenment and freedom from limitation, pain and struggle.

Participants at the seminar can expect interactive sessions and activities where they are introduced to innovative and reflective ways of expressing their thoughts and feelings as a pathway of discovering one's true self and unleashing one's full potential as a human being. It will help the individual enhance their friendships with others, relationships at work and at home, and deepen one's perception of relationship dynamics in general.
