The Association of Muslim Professionals, in collaboration with Yayasan Mendaki, is organizing a workshop entitled Learning Skills and Engagement for Under performing Students conducted by renowned American education psychologist and author, Eric Jensen.
The workshop targets educators and aims to provide them with insights into how they could engage under performing students in their daily classroom setting when they face students of different ability levels. It also shares alternative perspectives on how enrichment or remedial classes could be conducted for such students. Taking a brain-based approach, the workshop will, in addition, attempt to highlight possible learning issues faced by under performing students and how their learning skills could be honed.
