Women going out to the mosque should not be a cause of fitnah, and women should behave in accordance with Islamic teachings of purity of thought and behaviour. If for any reason there is the fear of fitnah associated with women going out to the mosque, then it is better for women to pray at home, and they should do so. [The Ideal Muslimah]
