ADIL Workshop: Being A Muslim in Singapore #2

This upcoming August, Assyakirin Mosque will be organizing a 3-week course “Being a Muslim in SG” every Saturday, from 4 to 18 August 2018.
In this weekly course, participants will be able to understand the status of Singapore being a non-Islamic state from the viewpoint of Islamic rulings and perspective, instil positive values in fostering good relations with the non-Muslims and possess a positive spirit to contribute in ensuring Singapore's harmonious state which is in line with the principles of Islam.
#2: BEING A MUSLIM CITIZEN IN A NON-ISLAMIC STATE
1. To understand the status of Singapore being a non-Islamic state from the viewpoint of Islamic rulings and perspective.
2. To be able to provide religious evidence which permits Singaporean Muslims to display a positive attitude towards their home country Singapore.
3. To inculcate positive attitude in Singaporean Muslims which then enable them to
display that attitude towards Singapore –the country that they reside in- for the
benefits of Islam.
4. To possess a positive spirit to contribute in ensuring Singapore's harmonious state which is in line with the principles of Islam.
