The talk will share the virtues of Lailatul Qadar and its importance in the month of Ramadan and why Muslims seek this auspicious night. It would explain the misconceptions behind this mysterious night, giving focus to the dispersed information that ‘nuzulul quran' and ‘lailaitul qadar' are two seperate occasions and how this mentality depicts the level of intellectuality of Muslims in general and Singaporean Muslims specifically. It will discuss the ambiguity of the night and the wisdom behind its secrecy and debunk views that say it is on a specific date or dates. Additionally it will share the signs of lailatul qadar and how to maximise our efforts and the corresponding benefits and rewards which may reaped during last ten nights of Ramadan.
