In its simplest form, prayer is defined as “talking to Allah.” It is a personal process of opening our hearts to Allah and bringing everything in our hearts to Him. Prayer can be a powerful force for change in our lives, and the importance of doing it on a daily basis should be instilled in our children.

Striving to be better Muslimah, we want to enhance our Solah quality and upgrade ourselves into praying in congregration (jamaah) as well as offering voluntary prayers. This workshop will address the most-frequently asked topic on Jamaa' such as whether it is only applicable during travel or it is permissible to be done while muqim (in our country).

1.5hr per session, 8 weeks starting from 15 February 2021. Together with Ustazah Nazeerah Shaik Alwie, this event will be touching on Solat, varying from the topic of Importance of Solah Jamaah, Solat Jamaa' and knowing the rewards for all the voluntary (Sunnah) prayers!

Here are the topics that will be covered throughout the 8 weeks:

Week 1 (15 Feb 2021) - Introduction to Solah Jama'ah and its Importance (What, When, Why)

Week 2 (22 Feb 2021) - Pre-requisite of Solah

Week 3 (1 Mar 2021) - Purification in-depth

Week 4 (8 Mar 2021) - Solah Jama'ah (How)

Week 5 (15 Mar 2021 ) - Solah Jamaa' (What, When, Why and How)

Week 6 (22 Mar 2021) - Rawaatib, Istikharah, Hajaat, Dhuha

Week 7 (29 Mar 2021) - Tahajjud, Taubah, Tasbih, Witr

Week 8 (5 Apr 2021) - Attaining Khusyu' in Solah

Venue : Online (Zoom)

• 1.5 hours of weekly session (lesson + Q&A)
