Being Muslim in Singapore encompasses on being a Muslim, practising the beliefs and living together with other faiths in a non-islamic state. Being Muslim in Singapore breaks into 3 parts:
1. Muslims & Other Faith's Relationship in Islam, 20 October 2018
In Singapore, we live in a multireligious society. How actually do we, Muslims & other faiths live together? What should the relationship between us be?
2. Muslim as a Citizen of A Non-Islamic State, 27 October 2018
Singapore is a non-islamic state, how do we live as a Muslim in a non-islamic state? Does this mean the understanding of jihad is to wage war at our own country?
3. Islam and Interfaith Dialogue, 3 November 2018
There has been a growth of interfaith dialogue in Singapore. What is interfaith dialogue? How is it conducted?
Being Muslim in Singapore course is free and it is open for all. Other faiths are welcome to attend this course too. Suitable for 18 years and above. The course will be conducted in English language.
