Halaqah Series 2015: Jawi, The Revival

The use of Jawi in Singapore is still insignificant and one of the ways to revive it is through relaying its importance among students which we hope will be able to spark curiosity and interest them to come forth in learning it. Hence, Jawi: The Revival will focus on the history of the Jawi script and its demise. It will also touch on the contemporary form of the script, one of the attempts to reintroduce Jawi.
