Sheikh AbdulBary Yahya was born in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, during which he immigrated to America with his family. He grew up in Seattle, and began his Islamic studies at the University of Madinah. After graduating, he returned to Vietnam where he taught and also founded the Umm al-Qura Charity Organization.

He is a visiting instructor for the Al Maghrib Institute, known for his easy-going personality that is peppered with a unique brand of humour. Currently he is the Imam of Masjid Jaamiul Muslimeen in Seattle, WA. He also holds the positions of President of the Cham Refugee Community and Vice-President of the Islamic Center of Washington State. With a wealth of varied theological and practical experience, Sh. AbdulBary has raw talent and a multi-skill set many will appreciate and enjoy. Do accord him a warm local welcome.
