Objectives
World Arabic Language Day is an opportunity for us to celebrate the language of 22 Member States of UNESCO, a language with more than 422 million speakers in the Arab world and used by more than 1.5 billion Muslims.

Programme
Interactive Centre
• Arabic Calligraphy Corner
Discover the beauty of Arabic Calligraphy. Get your name written/designed in Arabic Calligraphy for free!

• Photo booth
It provides a unique and entertaining experience that everyone will enjoy for having their picture taken with Saudi landmarks in the background.

Launch of Saudi Book Corner
• Feature great selections of books provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the arts, history, cultural and traditional book on the Saudi Culture. This book corner will give audience an idea of rich scientific, cultural and creative contents on Saudi Arabia.

Seminar on Arabic Language (4pm to 6pm)
1. Translating Cultural Differences: The Meeting Of Arabic And Malay Cultures
2. Talks on loanwords across Arabic, English and French languages
3. Presentation on King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Arabic Language
