PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
A fun movement program that uses play therapy, creative movements, imagination and specialized neuro-developmental movements to help every student reach their potential - physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively. The activities activate the sensory system, stimulate neurological development and harmonize communication between the emotions, mental processes and body hence beneficial for students of all ages especially students who struggle academically.
The program will bring each student through a process of physical activation, relaxed exploration of the sensation this brings and then the integration of this development into their mind and body system and eventually their skills set. A holistic program as it empowers students to experience self-awareness and positivity.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
- To increase the readiness and motivation for learning.
- To make student realize their potential and enjoy their learning experience.
- To better manage emotions such as anger, grief and loss, fear, guilt and blocked speaking.
- To promote self-respect and self-awareness.
- To engage all types of learners be it auditory, visual or kinesthetic, effectively and efficiently.
