Culinary Turkish Cuisine Introductory Workshop
Fees: $20 for 2 sessions,inclusive of recipes, materials and food
Assyakirin Mosque in collaboration with Turkish Cultural Centre will be conducting a Culinary Turkish Cuisine Workshop on 27 February 2011.
The details are as follows:
Date: 27 February 2011
Time: 11 am to 2 pm
Venue: Youth Corner (Beside Green Apple Cafe)
Assyakirin Mosque 550 Yung An Road.
This will be an introductory workshop. We will consider opening the workshop in a modular basis if the response is encouraging.
The cuisines that you will be able to try out and taste would be as follows:
Week 1 (20 Feb 2011)
-Turkish Lentil Soup
-Semolina Dessert with Milk & Chocolate Sauce
-Pot Kofte (meatballs) with Entremets
-Sigara Boregi
-Turkish Salad for Demonstrations
Week 2 (27 Feb 2011)
-Split Belly Karniyarik (eggplant dish)
-Zucchini Mucver
-Home-Made Cezerye
-Pogaca
-Turkish Rice (Pilav)for Demonstrations
