Born in Mecca in the year 570 AD, Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) father died before his birth, and his mother died shortly thereafter. Raised by his uncle who was from the respected tribe of Quraish, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was illiterate and remained so till his death. Yet, he was the chosen one. The chosen last Messenger of God.
