It is important in the process of gaining knowledge, that one needs to master the lessons from one teacher first before they embark to another. In this day and age, it is even getting more difficult to sit down with a Quran Teacher to learn to read the Quran. We can see one jumping from one teacher to another teacher to learn this knowledge. Yet because of inconsistencies, the objective of being able to read the Quran well is not achieved.

One of the reasons that we discovered is that different people have different work schedules and due to the hectic world we live in, its not easy and even possible for one to sit into weekly classes yet istiqamah on reading.

So how does it work?
*****************************

Depending on the level that you are at, the Quran Teacher will test your reading and determine your level during the first session and will recommend you to which book to start first.

So what are the different levels?
**************************************

Level 1: The Beginner -
A new beginner? No idea what is huruf hijaiyah and how to pronounce it.

Level 2: Basic Tajweed
You have studied reading the Quran but have not covered Tajweed? By now you should already know where the different huruf comes from which part of the mouth, throat, etc as Tajweed requires you to know the different groups.

Level 3: Fundamentals and Science of Tajweed
You know the basic letters, pronunciation and basic tajweed. Time to go deeper into the science. Every time you read the Quran, you understand why you have to read in such manner. At level 3, you will be drilled to read over and over until you can remember the rules of tajweed in your heart. This is important for those who are very serious about fluency.

Level 4: Super Drilling
At this point you would already cover most of the lessons however without practise, you will end up forgetting. Even a Hafihz Quran requires them to read one Juzuk of the Quran daily to maintain the level of memory. So its important to be constantly drilled so that you too can maintain the knowledge and teach others.

Timing: 9am to 9.30pm daily.

How much are the fees?
******************************

i) 30 mins per session. $25 per session or $80 for 4 sessions.

ii) One time only: $50 registration and administrative fees. If you advance to the different level, this fee is not required anymore.

iii) At each level, you are required to purchased books and notes: $30 for each level. Depending on the level you are at.

When you register online an upfront $25 fee is required for the first lesson.

Q1. During the first session, can I re-arrange the schedule that I have first registered for?
A1. Yes you can. Just share with the Quran teacher your schedule and make personal arrangements with them.

Q2. How much money do I need to bring on the first session?
A2. Bring the minimum of $25 for the first session. If you choose to continue, please bring along the $50 registration fees and $30 for the books.

Q3. I have made the deposits and I did not turn up on the appointed date due to many reasons - reschuffle dates, etc.
A3. Every time there is a "no-show", the centre is still required to pay the asatizah that showed up for you. Please be responsible when you arrange the appointment date. The deposits given will be forfeited.

Q4. Previously there was no deposits required?
A4. A high frequency of no shows has resulted in this decision. Any new registrations that failed to attend the session arranged will be forfeited of their $25 deposit and will require to make a new registration again.
